EBSC followed the vision God has given us since 2011.It has been ongoing for the past nine years. During this period of time, we have witnessed the Lord’s divine
guidance and provision for advisors, counselors, Board of Directors, instructors and coworkers to fulfill the Lord’s commission for this ministry.
As the Principal of the Bible School, I have experienced personally God’s blessings and provisions. I recall receiving God’s calling to begin this ministry. I was a lone ranger in the beginning, but now we have a team of staff and part-time co-workers . Each one is using his or her talents and experience to fulfill the Lord’s calling to this ministry. This is no accident that He has called us to work together.
Because of our limited resources, many of our colleagues and workers can only work part-time. Our Bible School Dean Rev. Issac Liu Hing-Sum only works three days per week. Assistant Dean Sam Wong Chun-Kit and Student Administrator Josephine Ho Sok Dun work one or two days per week. Office Staff and office Assistant work only four days a week. Treasurer, Ki Ki Leung Bo Chu works one to two days per week. Administrator Ko Hing-Yee is a volunteer.
We have the fifth Bachelor degree class and the sixth Christian Service diploma class. They will graduate together in 2021. We hope to start the Expedited seventh Bachelor degree class in Pastoral Theology this September. This class is designed especially for different various foreign churches family Pastors.
May the Lord provide for their physical and spiritual needs. The students came from Paul had commended the Macedonian Christians concerning their sacrificial giving even though they were poor themselves. Their giving exceeded Paul’s expectation. “And now, Brothers and sisters, we want to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability.” (II Cor. 8:1-3). Because of their generous giving, God’s kingdom expanded, and the gospel was spread.
Today, I also hope you and some churches will continue to partner with our EBSC Bible School ministry. We are aiming to raise one million dollars this year for our budget. May we fulfill the Lord’s commission by your participation and involvement.
